7 years of Seeking His Presence. Established in 2016, in a small office space - Bridge has grown from a weekly prayer meeting and Bible study, into a thriving community of believers and church congregation, impacting our community on a daily basis.
In 2021 we took a step of faith and moved to 15 Foundry Street in the downtown industrial area of George. Over the years our primary focus has stayed the same: Ministering to the Lord and Seeking His Presence.
Patrick and Michele Rodriguez are our Founders & Senior Leaders. Their dream is to see the Presence of God find a resting place in the hearts and homes of every individual. They founded The Bridge Ministries and Bridge Church in 2016. Patrick and Michele love serving in the Body of Christ and their greatest honour is to see Jesus glorified through His church.
Marcus and Danielle van Reenen are our Senior Pastors and Associate Leaders, overseeing our Discipleship, Home Groups and Young Adults ministries. Marcus and Danielle’s passion for teaching the Word of God is a great blessing to our community. Their heart is to see a generation raised up with a deep love for Jesus and His Word.
We are a Presence-of-Jesus movement. He is our first priority in every gathering. Our services are not about being long or short—we come to worship Him and minister to Him.
Our culture is prophetic. We embrace the spontaneity of His voice—through prophecy, through songs, and through any way He desires to speak.
We love and honor community. We value every person and seek to reveal Christ in you—the hope of glory. Our heart is to build up, lift up, and bring people into Christ.
We believe the best of God’s Word for everyone. We choose to see people not after the flesh, but after Christ.
We honor the Word of God in every form—through teaching, preaching, and through demonstration when He chooses to manifest His Word in power.
We honor the Holy Spirit—His power, His gifts, His presence, and His person. He leads us, we follow, and together we glorify the Father and the Son.
We believe all things are possible with God. No sickness, no disease, no bondage, and no chains are too hard for the Lord.
